I began my career as an Occupational Therapist in the NHS, working in neurological rehabilitation and with people living with chronic pain and fatigue. Using approaches such as CBT and motivational interviewing, I supported people to adapt, cope, and regain a sense of control in their lives.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in the relational and systemic patterns that shape how we think, feel, and relate to one another. Alongside my NHS work, I trained with Cruse and my local hospice, volunteering for many years to provide bereavement support.
In 2018, I trained with Relate at the Institute of Family Therapy in systemic couple and family counselling, continuing with the organisation through its transition to The Relationship Service (TRS). I now work both for TRS and in private practice.
Alongside relationship counselling, I offer support for those anticipating the loss of a beloved pet or living with pet bereavement. I understand how profound these bonds can be and how isolating this often unrecognised grief may feel.
I offer a warm, respectful, and thoughtful space where you can make sense of difficult feelings, feel heard without judgement, and find steadier ground during times of change, loss, or uncertainty.
